How to Freshen Limp Old Greens

Jean Myers, a Cancer Project instructor in New Mexico, taught us a wonderful way to freshen old, limp greens.

Cut the stems on a diagonal, then place in a vase of water for about 2 hours.  As you can see from our experiment below, Our greens were fresh and crisp in no time!
